ALUMINUM BERIMBAU

Based on the traditional berimbau which is made from wood, metal string and a hollowed gourd, the aluminum berimbau uses aluminum tubing and a coffee can for the resonating chamber. Unlike the traditional berimbau, the aluminum version does not need to be unstrung when not in use. The arc of the bow is pre-bent.

However, it is recommended to remove the resonator can while not in play to extend life of wire. The aluminum berimbau comes with metal baqueta (stick), stone and small caxixi.
